Sachan , (Hindi:सचान) is a Brij or Awadhi language word. Sachan surname has origin from the word Sachanda (Hindi:सचाणा) is a prominent Kurmi Kshatriya Clan living in the region of gangatic plains of ancient Panchala Mahajanpad Region (Central Doab and Rohilkhand Region). Sachan are mainly in the state of Uttar Pradesh in Northern India.Sachans are originally from Hamirpur and people of this clan are found in the Kanpur region of Indian state of Uttar Pradesh . Specially in the districts of Kanpur , Bareilly , Pilibhit and Hamirpur . This region was called as Katiher due to the dominance of Katiyar or Katehar Rajputs during Rajput era and this dominance continued up to the period of Moguls. Vishwanath Pratap Singh (25 June 1931 – 27 November 2008) was the seventh Prime Minister of India and the 41st Raja Bahadur of Manda.

KURMI Rajput Gaharwar (Rathore)(GANGWAR Rajput) Early life He was born in the Rajput Gaharwar (Rathore) Royal Family of Manda to Raja Bhagwati Prasad Singh of Daiya and was later adopted by Raja Bahadur Ram Gopal Singh of Manda in 1936, whom he succeeded in 1941. V. P. Singh studied at Colonel Brown Cambridge School , Dehradun for five years, and entered local politics in Allahabad during the Nehru era. He married Rani Sita Kumari, born 1936 in Deogarh, Udaipur, daughter of Rawat Sangram Singh II of Deogarh on 25 June 1955. He soon made a name for himself in the state Congress Party for his unfailing rectitude, a reputation that he would carry with him throughout his career.

Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia (born 1 January 1971) is the current titular Maharaja of Gwalior . He is also a politician belonging to the Indian National Congress . He is also a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India representing the Congress party and a Minister of State , Ministry of Commerce and Industry . He is a descendant of the dynasty belonging to the Scindia Maratha clan that ruled Gwalior State till the creation of the Republic of India , being a grandson of the last princely ruler of Gwalior . Leva or Leva Patil [ Leva- Patidars KUNBI [KURMI] Main article: Leva Patil The Leva or Lewa are synonymous with the Lewa Patil—the suffix Patil is a feudal title. [3] The community does not have an oral history of their origin or migration, but they generally accept that they migrated from Gujarat to the Vidharba region via Nimar (now part of Madhya Pradesh). The Kurmi are a Hindu agricultural Jāti (community) in India. The group has been associated with the Kunbi , though scholars differ as to whether the terms are synonymous. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] In 2006, the Indian government announced that Kurmi was considered synonymous with the Kunbi and Yellam castes in Maharashtra . [ 3 ] There are differences of opinion regarding the group's classification in the traditional varna system. Kunbi (alternatively Kanbi ) is a generic term applied to castes of traditionally non-elite tillers in Western India. Siyaram Gangwar was a former Member of Legislative Assembly from Kaimganj . He was also a renowned revolutionary freedom fighter having an active role in various operations against British Government in 1930s and 1940s. He was elected as member of legislative assemblyof Uttar Pradesh in 1951, 1962 and 1969. Dr. Siyaram Gangwar also served as Deputy Minister of Finance in the cabinet of Kamalapati Tripathi during 21-05-1971 tO 12-06-1973.
